How does ZIP matching work?
A business lists the exact five-digit ZIP codes it serves. HouseGlow shows it in a ZIP search only when that exact ZIP is active on its profile.
Does HouseGlow employ the cleaners?
No. Cleaning businesses are independent providers. Customers should confirm scope, pricing, insurance, availability, and other requirements directly before hiring.
What does a "Verified listing" badge mean?
It means the owner confirmed the email address on the account and a HouseGlow administrator reviewed the listing before it went public. It is not a check of insurance, licensing, background screening, or work quality. See the verification methodology page at /verification for every check and its limits.
Are featured listings marked?
Yes. A business can pay for a featured placement, which lifts it in search results. Those listings carry a "Sponsored" badge. Paid placement does not affect verification or exact-ZIP matching.
Can a cleaning business create a free page?
Yes. Owners may register, verify their email, add business details and service ZIP codes, and publish a free HouseGlow mini-site.
